Pregnancy and Postpartum Corrective Exercise
Safe, Strong and Supported.
It’s no secret that during pregnancy and childbirth the body undergoes MAJOR physical, hormonal, and musculoskeletal changes. Without proper recovery, individuals are at risk for issues like pelvic floor dysfunction, core weakness, instability and pain. Working with a PT during pregnancy and in the postpartum phase is an opportunity to bridge the gap between labor and delivery and return to activity safely. It is a guide to optimize your pregnancy experience, then rebuild strength, restore function, and reduce the risk of injury—laying the foundation for lifelong wellness. Referrals to pelvic floor therapist as needed!
